Berkeley County South Carolina Real Estate
Berkeley county is the largest county in the Charleston area. With a population of 163,622+, It has experienced tremendous growth in the past ten years. With Lake Marion in Berkeley county's back yard it is a boater, fishing and other water sports enthusiast's heaven on earth. Mount Pleasant, SC has a hidden gem of a neighborhood. It's called Horlbeck Creek. Horlbeck Creek is a community of custom homes with some waterfront lots with docks. It's probably the least expensive waterfront community in the area. The neighborhood was established in the 1990's, however there are still lots available to be built on. The community has a crabbing dock.
The homes that are built are low country style with lots of porches and natural surroundings. All of the homes were built with multi-car parking underneath the home. This gives you tons of extra storage for your boat, kayak and toys. The neighborhood has access to Horlbeck Creek and the sunsets are spectacular.
